Hi, I'm Jill Terry (nee Conti). Though most of my family is Italian, the cultural emphasis in my youth was on being American, so I never learned Italian or even heard many stories about "the old country." When I found virtualitalia.com, I hoped I'd make the contact with my roots that had always escaped me. Since volunteering with virtualitalia.com, I've had the privilege of interviewing people with wonderfully interesting tales of Italy's diverse regions. Each contact is an enlightening experience for me and helps me feel closer to the glorious culture I'm proud to carry in my blood. I'd love to hear and share your tales with other virtualitalia.com readers, so please write me!
