Amici Della Lingua Italiana would like to bring to the attention of the community "CONCERTO ITALIANO", our Fall Concert of Italian Culture thru Music. As with our Spring 2004 Concert, this show will again be held at the Community Arts Center at Burlington Township High School on Fountain Avenue. Our charity for 2005 is the Freedom Foundation Heroes Scholarship Fund, for children of America's combat killed or seriously wounded armed forces personnel.

Advance Tickets are just $20.00 until October 15th and $25.00 afterward. All seats reserved on a first-come first-serve basis.

The concert date is Sunday October 30, 2005 at 2:00PM and refreshments will be served after the concert. Last year was a near sellout of all 800 seats at this fantastic showplace, and we do expect the same or better this year for our four (4) act show.

Opener will be "Uncle Floyd" Vivino Comedy Star of TV and stage, followed by Billy Kay, a fabulous Frank Sinatra impersonator. The second half will feature "I Paesani" an Italian Folkloristica Song and Dance Troupe of thirty costumed performers from Pennsylvania, followed by nationally renown tenor Frank Tenaglia. As a bonus, Umberto Palmiere, a Neopolitan Guitarist/Singer, will again grace our stage and entertain before and after the concert to set the mood and keep it going during refreshments in the cafeteria.

The concert will be the final event of the Italian Heritage month of October as designated nationally. Amici is also sponsoring several other activities during the month.

Amici club was organized in 1996 to preserve/promote the Italian culture and language here in the Delaware Valley. From a start with twenty members, today Amici has grown to almost 400 active card-carrying members and language classes with 90 adult students during each school year.


We invite those who have not experienced "AMICI" to join us at any of our events or dinner-meetings. In September Amici will begin its 2005-2006 monthly "Serata Italiana", which is what we call our Italian Experience gatherings on the last Tuesday evening of each month from September through June.
