About the artist
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Arturo made his singing debut at the age of nine in a school concert and soon thereafter, with his parents encouragement, began taking accordion lessons. Upon completing school, he was accepted into the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston where he majored in Arranging and Composition and developed skills as an accomplished pianist. While at Berklee, he earned his living as a singer in local nightclubs perfecting his style and, apart from his Berklee curriculum, devoted all his free time to developing his vocal technique. After graduating from college, Arturo decided to makesingingg his career.

A road tour of the United States brought him to Las Vegas, where he headlined his show, "The Romantic Moods of Arturo." His performances were all greeted with overwhelming critical and public acclaim which appropriately lead to a string of engagements sharing the stage with comedian Buddy Hackett at the Riviera Hotel. In addition to performing on the showroom stage, Arturo also appeared with "The Las Vegas Opera and Symphonic Society" in productions of Tosca, The Impresario, The Stoned Guest and Scenes From Grand Opera and Patrice Munsel.
