joe de felice
philadelphia regional ambassador

Im the son of Italian immigrant parents born and raised in Union City, NJ. Graduate of Emerson High School and BS/BBA from St. Peters College in Jersey City, NJ. Four grown children now residing in Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey culminating in a total 6 grandchildren.

Semi retired after a 34+ year career in MIS / IT during which I held positions from data analyst to programmer, systems analyst, EDP Systems Dept. Manager, Senior Consultant and ultimately operated my own Systems Development Company for the Apparel Manufacturing Industry after working for others including EDS Systems of Ross Perot and GM renown.

I started my own firm, Show Glow Outfitters to serve the entertainment industry in 1983 with formalwear and other onstage and travel wear. My specialty is clothing singing groups all over the country, especially barbershop harmony singers. Today, the business is primarily operated using the Internet as a marketing tool, and will soon be fully E-Commerce capable.

Italian heritage and culture consume a great deal of his free time these days, as he was recently elected President his local local and Italian American Club, Amici della Lingua Italiana.

Managing a section that promotes Italian and Italian American events and organizations in Philadelphia (Delaware Valley) has been a dream of mine for a long time. I intend reaching out to every I-A organization I can find, to publish, promulgate and promote a calendar of events and programs for all to see.
